The ActuarialBrew.com MFE/3F Seminar provides an overview of the MFE/3F syllabus to help you quickly review the concepts as you prepare for the exam.

Our MFE/3F Seminar provides a chapter-by-chapter explanation of the Derivative Markets text with a special focus on:
-difficult concepts
-areas that are especially likely to be tested.

Working exam-style questions is the real key to passing Exam MFE/3F, so we spend a significant amount of the seminar working new exam-style questions. Seminar students are provided with over 100 new exam-style questions, most of which will be worked in class. Full solutions to the seminar practice questions are also provided.

After the seminar ends, students still have about 6 weeks before the exam for reviewing the material and focusing on the more difficult sections to finalize preparation for the exam.

Seminar Details
The MFE/3F seminar is a 2-day seminar. The dates for the Spring 2009 seminar are Saturday and Sunday, April 4 and 5. The seminar starts promptly at 9:00 each morning and it ends at approximately 5:30 each afternoon.

The seminar will be held at the SLC Conference Center on the 16th floor of 352 7th Avenue near 30th Street in Manhattan. For more information about SLC’s location, please go to www.slccenters.com. Please note that SLC is a conference center only. It is not a hotel.

Students should note that our MFE/3F NYC seminar has sold out over the last several study cycles, so students are advised to register early, as class size is limited. The registration deadline is March 20. Students who cancel their registration prior to March 6 will receive a 100% refund. Students who cancel between March 6 and March 20 will receive a 50% refund. No refund is provided if students cancel after March 20. We reserve the right to cancel the seminar if necessary until March 6, in which case a full refund would be provided. However, we fully intend to run this seminar.
